Students coming to the IUT as part of an exchange programme must, if they wish, apply for accommodation in a university room when they apply to the university's international department.
It is advisable to keep in touch with the person in charge of incoming Erasmus/non-Erasmus mobility at the University of Burgundy.
Given the numerous requests for accommodation in university halls of residence, it is possible that yours will not be honoured. The International Office will be able to help you to orientate your search.
You will have to find another accommodation solution if you do not wish to reserve a university room.

After your registration at the University:  

• Erasmus students of European nationality must apply for the European Health Insurance Card (CEAM) before your arrival in France.
• Students from outside the European Union must register with the CPAM in order to have compulsory and free health insurance in France. This will enable you to obtain reimbursement of your health costs.
• You can also subscribe to a complementary health insurance (mutuelle).

Your card will be given to you in person once you have registered.
It will give you free access to the campus libraries, to the various sports facilities (SUAPS) and reduced rates for certain services during your stay in Burgundy (cinemas, hairdressing salons, restaurants).
