Alina, from Romania to BUT GACO in Dijon
Alina, a student at Lucian Blaga University in Sibiu, came to study in the BUT GACO program. Here’s what she has to say about her experience : « My Erasmus experience in Dijon enriched me in every way. It strengthened my language skills, made me more receptive to the beauty of different cultures, taught me to live in the moment and exploit my full potential, to enjoy what I have and appreciate what I’ve had. I have to say that Dijon has given me memorable friends and experiences. At IUT, I was fortunate to have professors who captivated me with their teaching style and vast knowledge. I benefited from their empathy and understanding, for which I am grateful. The classes were dynamic and stimulating. Teamwork was the order of the day, but I enjoyed working. Still in Dijon, I discovered and practiced a new sport, went for long walks in nature, and was fascinated by the vineyards, culture and history of the area. What’s more, the city is fairly close to the capital and other major centers, so I was able to travel a lot more. My Erasmus stay will remain engraved in my heart as a unique experience.
